Alaska's
Sadie Cove Wilderness Lodge - one of the top10 Eco-Resorts in North
America - serving a small number of overnight guests only. Private
parties of 8 or more get the entire lodge to themselves and additional
patrons are never brought in for meals, equipment rentals, or the like.
Relax in an atmosphere of fun and friendship and if adventure is what
you enjoy, Sadie Cove has plenty to offer from bear viewing to glacier
kayaking. Completely off the grid the lodge generates it's own
electricity with silent and non-polluting hydro power. The lodge itself
was built from drift logs that were cut by hand, one at a time, to make
the lumber that the buildings and docks are made of. It has been a labor
of love for Alaska pioneer Keith Iverson who has lived in Sadie Cove for
33 years. See wild mountain goats on the surrounding cliffs and bald
eagles in the air at eye level from the cabin decks. A
once-in-a-lifetime experience - book early as they fill up way in
advance. Please visit our website at
www.sadiecove.com.
